It's been too long. Life has thrown me some curveballs, but I'm back in the game and ready to rock and fire. Don't have many followers, and haven't had much comment action, but I am treading forth undaunted. I have new interests. I have revisited and revamped old ideas. My thought process is altered, and I have found my passion again. I will be cleaning up my old submissions and adding lots more art in the coming days.

Pittsburgh Comic Con, and life thereafter...
Recently got back from the Pittsburgh Comic Con this past weekend, and with all the awesome people I met and exchanged info with, I realized I probably should update this freakin' thing! Overall, I had a great experience at the Con. Aside from being utterly disappointed by the public persona of one of my heroes in the biz (who will go unnamed, but let's just say he draws alot of buxom babes for DC), I met some great people that I WILL name.
Mike Lilly, artist for Dynamite's "The Black Terror", and his wife were hands-down the most gracious, down-to-earth people I've met in a long time. Mike did a fantastic inked piece on the cover of my
Now in dazzling COLOR!
I know, I know...it's been a long time since my last post! Trust me, I've been a busy guy. Well, here's the update - a few weeks ago, I finally got my very first set of Prismacolor markers. Yeah, really! I know, it's sad. Like I've said, I don't do color. Well, I didn't do color - but I do now. I'm getting hooked on these things! It might be the fumes, but still! I can't stop! Anyway, I dragged some older artwork out of the files so I could practice laying some color on, and I'm impressing myself a little bit. Oh, believe me, I need to work on my technique, find the right kind of paper, etc. Speaking of which, if anyone who reads
Update!!
Back again, kids! Just wanted to give a heads up on the latest over here. I'm on a crazy drawing binge at the moment, switching from project to project. The Batman/Catwoman piece is still being touched up, working some bugs out and wondering if there should be a third element in the compostion. If anyone cares to, give me a shout and let me know which other character should accompany Batsy and Cat! Also, I have an Omega Red piece in the works, and I'm pretty psyched about this one too. He's one of my favorite X-villains and can you believe I've never drawn him? Craziness. Anyway, take care and have fun, kiddies!
Coming soon...
Hey, kids! Just wanted to let you know that I should be posting a new Batman/Catwoman piece sometime very soon. As much of the perfectionist as I am, I'm actually really excited about it and quite happy with the way it's looking so far. The long, winding road this piece has taken so far has made me think of posting a "work-in-progress" series here in the future, showcasing a drawing in its many stages, from sketches and understructure, to the final pencils and so on. Until then, anticipate the coming of the new Bat/Cat piece and please continue to enjoy some newer postings in my Gallery and Scraps pages. Thank you for your support and co
